Real Estate Contract to Close Coordinator

Rene Sorola Properties, one of Houston’s most respected and prestigious real estate teams, is seeking a Real Estate Contract to Close Coordinator to work in our Galleria office. The ideal candidate will function as a liaison between the team, real estate agents, clients, escrow companies, and mortgage brokers.


• Coordinate, track and administer all facets of the team’s real estate transactions (including purchase contracts, coordinating and negotiating inspections, open escrow, sign off, etc.), driving the process from contract to closing

• Manage and coordinate communications with internal and external parties on behalf of Rene Sorola Properties (including clients, agents, title companies, and mortgage brokers) as a part of the coordination of real estate transactions

• Oversee all contracts through closing

• Build, implement, and manage systems required for efficient processing of files

• Keep the lead agent and assigned agent informed about any issues related to the transactions

• Provide a consistent, quality-controlled system to ensure the smooth and efficient management of all relevant steps necessary to close a real estate sale

• Maintain and organize files relating to real estate transactions, including ensuring all the mandatory disclosures are completed and sent to the cooperating agent or broker for review and approval

• Create a time line of important dates for the real estate agent and all other parties to follow, such as deadlines for loan and inspection

• Open escrow with an escrow or title company and supply the escrow or title officer with the necessary information to begin the escrow process


• Must have a current Texas real estate license

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic legal documents, including disclosures, purchase contracts, and counteroffers

• Must have sound business judgment and critical thinking skills

• Must have excellent organizational skills, detailed-oriented and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with electronic real estate databases

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service, including excellent oral and written skills

• Must be able to work independently, and prioritize workload to meet established goals and timelines

• Effective time management and manage various deadlines within a short timeframe are critical

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure

• 35-40K salary
